Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Boynton Beach

We had the chicken pad thai for a shared main course and the puffed rice salmon app, along with a Japanese Mule and Spicy Cucumber cocktail. All 4 were very good. They were very busy but we were seated right at 7:30 as per our reservation.

We had not been back to The Ray since Ember Grill was converted to Campi. We liked Ember Grill but Campi may be even better since Italian cuisine is our favorite. The place is lovely with a great refined ambiance. Burak our server was great as well as the rest of the staff. And the food was outstanding.

We went for an early lunch to celebrate Valentine’s Day. We were seated quickly and our server showed up right away. We ordered our drinks and they came quickly. I had an Old Fashioned that was very good. We ordered our food which came in a reasonable time. I had Blackened Sea Scallops that were delicious. My wife had Grilled Swordfish that was a little dry, but tasted very good. We topped off our meal with an Affogato that was very good. Service was excellent.

We came in 20 minutes earlier than our reservation. We were greeted/welcomed by the host to have a seat by the lobby. Ironically, there was a 3 seat corner spot at the bar perfectly for me and my party. On Wednesday, they had live music and I reserved for the all you can eat stone crab claws. The bartender, Matt, was very well mannered, attentive, kind, and made our drinks to perfection. We were served fast in my opinion on a busy night. We chose a soup with our stone crab claws which was very fresh with mini meatballs, chicken, and vegetables. So good. As for the claws, I’d like to believe they are fresh. I notice you start with 2 pounds then they serve 3 claws after. I assume - all you can eat but once I finished the 2 pounds and had my 3 extra, I was honestly done. Again, really good. My boyfriend had a skirt steak and that was made to perfection. The restaurant was very nice and I truly enjoyed dining here.

I had the coconut shrimp salad. It was plated beautifully and delicious. The mango, pineapple and avocado were all perfect ripeness. The ambience on the water adds to the dining experience. Service was excellent. I highly recommend Banana Boat.
