Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Elgin

Always a pleasure dining here! Kudos to our Wine Server Joy she is such an amazing person! Her name says it all! Thank you for an amazing experience every time we do our wine tasting and dine at South Barrington!

West coast oysters were terrific. Crabmeat avocado was delicious. The fillet was excellent as was the WR cut and a lobster tail for the table. We were celebrating Moms 97th birthday and server Diana was very gracious and give the table two walnut chocolate chip cookies topped with vanilla ice cream whipped cream and chocolate sauce. It was an excellent topper to a terrific evening.

The food is a delicious culinary experience. Interesting combinations of flavors that work so well!

Food and wine were excellent. Service was exceptional. I had short rib risotto which was great. Brought friends from out of town for their first visit and they loved it. We will all be back.

Alyssa was a great attentive server. Dinner was exceptional. The Parmesan crusted chicken and Italian sausage flat bread are great. The smores budino for dessert was the perfect size after being stuffed from dinner. I ordered a wine flight at the table and followed Alyssa’s suggestion. Great meal over all and the service puts it over the top. Never a bad experience here.
