Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Galleria / Uptown

This was our first time there and it was MAGNIFICENT!!! Had a little delay getting seated but our waiter Colby was on point and was excellent, a wonderful waiter for sure. We plan on going back for sure. Food was fantastic and the drinks were great as well. I totally recommend this restaurant and will.

10/10!!! Didn’t upset one bit. Every dish we had was on point. For our appetizers we got the Wagyu Meatballs, Shrimp Calabria, and the Crab Cakes. They were super good. My wife got the 8 oz. Filet Mignon, and i got the 16 oz. Cajun Ribeye recommended by our waiter Steven. Both were real tender and juicy. Our sides were also delicious. We got the Jumbo Asparagus and the Lobster Mac and Cheese. Our waiter Steven was real attentive as well. Will come here again for sure. The food was very good! I was pleasantly surprised by everything I ate. The ambiance was just right! It was quaint and enjoyable.

We had four different dishes (two steaks and two types of fish. ALL were delicious. I really don’t think you could find anything that wasn’t outstanding. The one thing I would change is the noise level. They might refer to it as energetic, I thought it was a little too loud. Made it necessary to speak louder and it seemed like a competition. No a huge problem but not a quiet romantic dinner. A matter of taste. Great experience.

First time trying this restaurant and my bestie and I were very satisfied. We had an awesome and knowledgeable server aka food guide in Melissa, so ask for her. Musaafer is a fantastic food experience with top service and so deserving to be awarded a 1 Michelin Star for 2024. For starters we ordered Escolar Ceviche that’s super delicious and really a light/fresh dish. We also ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala as a second starter and is quite fantastic! It takes a little time to cook in the tandoori oven so be patient and order it first. Lamb Nihari is fall off the bone tender and the sauce is chef’s kiss! The Butter Chicken Experience is a must! The butter chicken comes 2 ways with half traditional sauce and the other half is tomatillo based sauce which we liked more but both are very tasty. For dessert, we ordered the Rasmalai, which is a very light, fruity and refreshing dessert with a saffron based sauce. I’m not a fan of the saffron sauce but I still love it! We are definitely coming back as to try the other dishes Musaafer offers!
