Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Los Ranchos

Wonderful evening with friends to celebrate a birthday. Was definitely noisy, but it was prime time Sat. night, so not too surprised. Hubby loved his ribeye and I decided to try duck for the first time, which was spectacular!

What a great night! Drinks and service were excellent, thanks to Madeline in the bar. Atmosphere/ vibe was sexy cozy on a super chilly night. Then the food!!! A date night of 4, we all chose to get something different to sample, including dessert, and we were all pleasantly satisfied. Everything was terrific and we all can’t wait to go back! Made me forget about the parking situation (lack there of).. See you next weekend! Oh and we can’t wait to hang out there in the spring and summer on the fabulous patios!

Ladies out for bday get together. If you can get past the thug at the door with your knee caps …..😬 I was surprised that they didn’t have a coat check so be prepared to deal with your overcoat at the table. The service experience was amazing, food and drink exquisite! We were there early and enjoyed a quiet dining room with piano music. For our small group it was perfect. We could easily hear each other and enjoy conversation too. We had cocktails and wine. Perfect old fashioned and great Cabernet. We shared carne asparagus and calamari appetizers. Unique paring, large portions and very good. The Cesar with green chile was amazing! The filet was perfectly cooked and tender. Then we shared a cheesecake dessert which came with a candle! Emily brought out another chocolate cake for us to try and it was delicious as well. Our birthday gal was happy! It is pricey but the experience will linger. I highly recommend Vernon’s.

We had a great evening at M'Tucccis on Unser. The food was excellent as usual and the service was excellent as well. It is a little loud, but otherwise it is one of our favorite restaurants.

Wonderful restaurant and stunning views! I wish there was clearer communication about how to get to the restaurant on the tram, I had been told from the restaurant instructions to arrive at least 30-45 minutes before my reservation but the tram runs frequently and it only takes 15 minutes to get up the mountain, I was 30-40 minutes early and they were booked and unable to take us earlier so I had to wait a bit, which is expected and not a problem but I thought that it would’ve been nice to not arrive that early as recommended. Food and service was amazing but please bring a warm jacket or winter coat as it’s -5 degrees sometimes outside the tram!!
