Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Scarborough

We took my elderly parents and their friends for an anniversary dinner at the David Duncan House and could not be more pleased. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. The staff was incredibly accommodating and were able to seat us comfortably, The service was impeccable, with our highly knowledgeable and attentive waiter (thank you, John!) taking excellent care of all seven of us throughout the entire evening. The food was outstanding. From the perfectly prepared filet mignon and New York sirloin to the grilled branzino and pan-seared halibut, every dish was a delight. The salads—Greek and kale/brussels sprout—were equally impressive. Dessert was the perfect finale, with the in-house-made crème brûlée and chocolate hazelnut torte earning rave reviews from everyone. Special mention goes to their expertly crafted old-fashioned, featuring Michter's sour mash. Everyone agreed that the David Duncan House made our celebration memorable, and we look forward to returning for another exceptional evening in this beautiful and refined space.

We had an absolutely fantastic evening at The Keg Steakhouse on Leslie. Our meal was so delicious and perfectly cooked and our server Alex (Alexandra) was amazing!!! We've had the pleasure of being served by her in the past and she remembered us immediately which was quite impressive since the last time we were there was over 6 months ago. Her attention to detail and quality of service is some of the best we've ever had at any restaurant anywhere. The food was incredible as always...I enjoyed my scrumptious 10oz prime rib, while my wife and my best friend were in heaven eating their perfectly cooked steaks. The Keg Steakhouse at Leslie is a treat we look forward to every time we come back to Canada to visit family and friends....it's one of the most consistently perfect steakhouses anywhere in the world. The food, drinks, atmosphere and service are second to none. We can't wait to come back again....And hopefully we'll be served by Alex again because she really made our evening extra special!

Tasty food and amazing service had at this don mills landing company restaurant location ! We will be back anytime we come to don mills !
