Butterjoint is a comfy bar and restaurant located in North Oakland. I take my mom here every time I come to town. We used to come here regularly when I lived in Pittsburgh. The food and drinks are always delicious, the restaurant has a very cool vibe, everyone who works there is friendly and kind, and the service is consistently excellent.

Food was good, service was good and friendly. A little disappointed by our seat option; the restaurant was aware that we were there for a special occasion and we were still seated on the “patio” right next to the door. Overall, I can’t make any real complaints. At the same time, I wasn’t exceedingly impressed so it wouldn’t be my first choice for our next special occasion meal

Delicious food in a lovely setting with impeccable service. Fried zucchini app is a standout. The signature salad was perfection. Shrimp/scallops on ravioli outstanding. It is a bit hard to chat because of noise level but not enough to keep us from returning.

Our 2nd time dining here. It was our 46th anniversary and we were congratulated several times by staff. Our entrees of fresh pasta were excellent. We shared rosoto balls and carrot & beet salad - both yummy. The suggested wines were lovely. Finishing up with Apple Costini with whipped mascarpone was a delicious ending served by the chef.
