The location spans 1,700 square feet, seats 50 inside and 20 people on the patio and will feature a California – Italian menu. The atmosphere is cozy, warmly lit, with wood paneled walls and custom lighting. We serve brunch on Saturday and Sundays as well! “We are thrilled to be a neighborhood restaurant serving our community. We have a great pizza oven and create custom Neapolitan style pizzas. I didn’t think that Grand Lake kitchen was going to live up to the hype, but it exceeded it!! Had the sweetest, yummiest birthday brunch there – everything was so fresh and delicious and the service is so warm and impeccable!

We shared the Family Dinner with the wine pairing last night and it was wonderful. What the Burdell kitchen puts together is always so delicious. Anticipation of each serving was like opening a present. Big love to the folks who keep it moving with pleasantness and grace. Peace and blessings to Ife and her family.

This has got to be the best dining experience located in North Berkeley. I ordered the special dinner, which includes a choice of an appetizer, a main dish with basmati rice and a dessert. Great food and worth the value. I would definitely go back to Ajanta and try different things that I missed from ordering off of the menu.
