A San Diego tradition since 1969, the Brigantine has received numerous accolades during our 40+ year history: "BEST SEAFOOD", "BEST CASUAL SEAFOOD", "BEST HAPPY HOUR", and even "BEST SWORDFISH IN THE WORLD", according to USA Today - just to name a few. Well-known for our signature Clam Chowder, Grilled Swordfish & Crème Brûlée, the Brigantine is a favorite among locals for consistently fresh seafood, succulent steaks & grilled meats. A favorite destination for locals & tourists alike, the Coronado Brigantine is located in the heart of the village, immediately adjacent to the historic Hotel Del Coronado. Completely remodeled in 2016, the "new" Coronado Brigantine is an elegant adaptation of its former self. The addition of an intimate private dining room, a surround-seating bar and street-side outdoor patio have been equally well-received. Reserve a table in our Del View Dining Room, or walk-in anytime to our Oyster Bar- no reservation needed!

Great restaurant. Service and food quality were wonderful. I would come here just for the escargots and Grand Marnier souffle. Cannot believe that they do a fresh souffle. Unheard of. Bumped to our favorite restaurant in San Diego!

We were only able to visit during their happy hour but this place does not disappoint. Their staff are friendly and attentive, the food was amazing, and the ambiance was pleasant. We ordered oysters, clams (twice), croquettes, and the roadside double burger…..almost ordered another but I had to walk back to the hotel. We will revisit to enjoy their dinner offerings.

We always enjoy look at least one meal at the Brigantine every Coronado visit. We have one child who is,shall we say, strongly fish adverse. No problem as the diverse menu holds something for every family member. Already looking forward to the next visit.

This is our favorite place for quiet lunches. Closer than a trip to small town in France and the local bistro. They make you feel special. Moules are to die for
