A lovely brunch. Pleasant atmosphere. Really friendly people.

Dunns River is always an amazing place to eat, celebrate or just hang out at. Food is great and the place is very nice. On some nights there is a DJ and Live Music from a great band. Recently I ordered catering to go for the holidays and it didn't disappoint. This is definitely a must visit, although NYC is blessed to have many great Caribbean, Jamaican restaurants, this one is special and separates itself from the pack.

We’ve dined here many times. Sitting at the bar or at a table, service is always excellent. Chaz our server, was attentive and friendly. Quality of the food never disappoints. I recommend the lollipop lamb chops, P39 wings or char-broiled oysters for starters. Branzino or Apple Bacon Pork chops for entrees. Full bar available…. The atmosphere reminds me of the trendy eateries of downtown Brooklyn. Diverse clientele, positive vibes and jazz/RnB classics. This place is one of our favorites.

Celebrated Thanksgiving at this first-class fine-dining restaurant and it did not disappoint. From the minute we walked in, we were made to feel welcome. The food and wait staff were impeccable, even on a holiday during which there were three seatings scheduled. The pumpkin bisque, which started the meal, had a show-stopping presentation - it was in a small white pumpkin surrounded by autumn leaves. The rest of the meal from first course through dessert were perfection. A unique feature of the decor are enormous crystals of red salt, encased in glass and which were backlit for dramatic effect, a nod to the chef’s use of the ingredient in curing his dry-aged steaks that are displayed along the front wall of the restaurant. Will definitely dine here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a special meal.
