- MmonikaVIPSouth Carolina •12 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe came here for Christmas Eve and were seated promptly. Our waitress, Lauren, was very good. The food came out at reasonable times until dessert - we waited 45 minutes! Lauren apologized and said it was due to a backup in the kitchen . What I do not understand is that the menu was preset and the desserts should have been plated well in advance. When we left, we heard people complaining that they had reservations and were waiting for over 30 minutes past their reservation time. We enjoyed the atmosphere and food, but the service could have been better. We will definitely come back! I am sure with it being Christmas Eve, the kitchen was backlogged. Hopefully, they get things figured out for next year!More infoPerry’s Steakhouse & Grille – Vernon HillsPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Vernon Hills•4.7

This place is such a vibe—cozy, cute, and just the right amount of elegant. The decor is modern with little touches that make it feel warm and inviting. It’s the kind of spot where you could come for a casual dinner but also feel fancy enough for a date night. The service was amazing! The staff were so friendly and attentive, and they really made the experience even better. Let’s talk food because, honestly, EVERYTHING we tried was incredible. We went all-in on the appetizers: the Paneer & Cheese Samosas were crispy and gooey perfection, the Samosa Chaat was bursting with flavor, and the Brussels Sprouts Skillet was such a fun twist—it was crispy, savory, and downright addictive. The Aloo Tikki Chaat was another favorite, perfectly spiced and full of texture. You can’t go wrong with any of these! For the mains, the Paneer Tikka Masala was a total standout. The sauce was rich and creamy, with just the right amount of spice. Scoop it up with their warm, buttery Garlic Naan, and it’s pure heaven. The Vegetarian Biryani was also a hit—so flavorful and fragrant. Now, do not sleep on the drinks. The Guava Cocktail was hands down one of the best drinks I’ve ever had. Sweet, tangy, and refreshing—just WOW. You need this in your life. And then came dessert. Oh. My. God. The Rasmalai Tres Leches was absolutely mind-blowing—light, creamy, and so unique. The Pistachio Kheer was equally amazing, with a perfect balance of sweetness and nuttiness. Both desserts are must-orders, no questions asked. What makes Singh’s Kitchen so special is how they take classic Indian flavors and give them this modern, creative twist. It’s fusion done right, and every dish feels like it’s been made with so much thought and care. Seriously, this place is a gem. Whether you’re into Indian food or just looking to try something new, Singh’s Kitchen will blow you away. I already can’t wait to go back!More infoSingh's KitchenPrice: Moderate• Indian• Libertyville•4.5

- DDavidVIPChicago / Illinois •9 reviews4.0Dined on 7 Dec 2024Wonderful low key setting for two coupes to dine. Incredible value. Friday night reserve flights- we each had the Jax Cab, blend and then reserve cab, heavy pours, $23.50. The ladies had another flight, while the guys had three Manhattans/OldFashioned’s each. Then two more full glasses for the wives of cab. Along with an appetizer and we each had Chilean Sea Bass. All under $400. Super chill guitarist playing solo acoustic covers of known tunes. Not obtrusive.More infoNirvana Wine & GrilleriePrice: Expensive• Wine Bar• Vernon Hills•4.8
