The dome-shaped venue on the Hoe, aptly named The Dome, was designed by architect Tony Irish. The Dome was first opened in July 1988 as part of Mayflower commemorations in Plymouth and started life as a local museum and tourist information centre.Designed to have the Art Deco feel and opulence of a 1930s ocean liner, the venue’s bar will feature an extensive wine and gin list, a selection of cocktails plus a full range of beers, ciders and soft drinks.The restaurant’s menu will feature fresh, local and seasonal produce and will include fish sourced from local day boats. Lovely friendly service right from arrival, cosy atmosphere with candles and lighting and fab Christmas trees. Food was outstanding, we had roast pork and it was gorgeous . Certainly will be going back and will highly recommend.😀

We were well looked after, despite the late arrival of most of our party! We were not hurried or made to feel as though it was a problem. The meal was reasonably priced and all of our party enjoyed the food and the dining experience.
