Best Vegan Restaurants in Islip

I love this restaurant but this last visit was disappointing. It was much too loud, and the food was not up to their normal standards. Duck was much too salty, mussels weren’t great. That said, the service was impeccable. We will be back, maybe at a quieter time of year.

This place continues to be my favorite place. The food, service, and ambiance is always amazing.

Absolutely amazing experience. A birthday card on the table for my birthday, how sweet! I got the chorizo hash for brunch. It was absolutely delicious. My friend ordered the churro waffle which was the perfect amount of sweet and delicious someone else at my table.One of my friends got the tres Leches French toast, which was absolutely incredible. I recommend that dish if you were going for brunch and my other friend got the Huevos Rancheros which was also amazing.

We started with the quinoa fritters, they were amazing. For Entrees we had the short rib with eggs, you can have your eggs any way you like. My wife had hers poached and mine scrambled. It was served with a side of roasted potatoes. The food came out amazing. Followed by dessert, a slice of cheesecake topped off in caramel sauce. Typically I find caramel overpowering sweet but this sauce met the perfect blend between bitterness and sweetness. Very well done

Dinner & Service were great. We have been to Chop Shop more than once and each time it was a pleasure.
