- EEugeneVIPSacramento / Sacramento Valley •18 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoA former colleague and I dine monthly either in Pleasanton (Strizzi’s) or Walnut Creek (Il Fornaio). Both are great eateries albeit quite different in size and other respects. Today was Walnut Creek. Nice meal, good wines, great appetizers, particularly the calamari. And nice entrees. Topped off with a double espresso to facilitate alert travel home. All in All, another great meal.More infoIl Fornaio - Walnut CreekPrice: Moderate• Italian• Walnut Creek•4.3
- SSatyaGreater Boston •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe'd never had Indonesian cuisine previously. Our waitress gave us a lot of tips and helped us choose dishes that we'd like especialy since some of our party were vegetarians. The food came out quickly. The Tahu Goreng was outstanding. As was the Gado Gado and the Garlic Mushroom Noodles. Both were very flavorful. We also ordered the Coconut Tapioca Panna Cotta which had minimal sugar which we liked a lot. The waitress brought out an additional Sponge cake with Coconut Crisp on the house. We really appreciated her gesture. We've become big fans of San Dai.More infoSanDaiPrice: Expensive• Indonesian / Malaysian• Walnut Creek•4.6
- KKimberlySan Francisco Bay Area •4 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoService & food A++ - the base price for the heart healthy grain bowl is $18.95 before adding in the protein - for three people, one who had hot water & lemon, I had a non-alcohol spritzer with Pomegranate juice, and my other friend had an Arnold Palmer, the bill was $94. With tip (because our server was perfect), lunch for 3 was $115. Not hugely pocket book friendly. Open patio & they allow dogs is another plus - noise level because of location (in a popular outdoor mall) is just what you get. I do love this place as a special treat.More infoTrue Food Kitchen - Walnut CreekPrice: Moderate• American• Walnut Creek•4.4
- LLuciaVIPPhoenix / Arizona •29 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoAlmost like being in Italy to celebrate birthdays of two special ladies. We were given a quiet corner as requested and the service was terrific from the moment we entered and were warmly greeted by Julie. She topped it off with her beautiful voice joining us in song later when our delicious desserts were served. We enjoyed salmon with the special autumn salad, paninis, and wood fired pizza. Every table around us seemed to be enjoying their homemade gnocchi, linguini with clams and lasagna. Quite a parade of lovely dishes. We will return!More infoLocanda PositanoPrice: Moderate• Italian• Lafayette•4.8
- SSusanSan Francisco Bay Area •21 reviews5.0Dined on 8 Jan 2025Wonderful experience at lunch. Super friendly staff, enticing menu, food served with flair and tasted so good. We were seated at Table 80, which is in a secluded alcove. We appreciated the location until a larger party was seated next to us and the ambience went from quiet to boisterously loud.More infoThe Hideout KitchenPrice: Moderate• American• Lafayette•4.6
