Stray Dog is a comfortable yet fun take on your traditional bar and grill in Nordeast Minneapolis. Fantastic burger styles with hand-cut fries or tater tots. Amazing bloody mary and mimosa bar, almost a meal in themselves! We were celebrating a birthday, which got us a free photo booth token and dessert to share. I didn't realize how big this place is! We were seated in the quieter dining side, but the live music playing in the other area wasn't too loud. Looks like a nice happy hour, too, so we'll have to return soon for that!

Most lobby restaurants are not the greatest experience. The Milwaukee, however, was a pleasant surprise. From a gracious hostess to a joyful waitress, to a very, very good meal for the four of us. The only food negative was a relatively bland dressing on the Caesar salad. T”My pappardelle was outstanding and the others felt the risotto, burger and salmon were very fine.
