The tin ceiling and hardwood floors are restored, and the storied Garv’s Inn bar is rebuilt from scratch using reclaimed black walnut. Fettuccine Alfredo and Chicken piccata were excellent as were meatball appetizers and bruschetta. Mushroom risotto with lobster was a touch salty for one diner. Complimentary birthday tiramisu dessert was great. Noise level grew over time as tables filled. Very nice dinner.

My favorite food place in La Grange. Always a great breakfast, lunch or dinner. Fresh and consistently good. Even the carry outs. What we like most is the noise level is usually low. It’s hard to find a place where you can talk. We were lucky enough to get a booth.

First time going...Was a little hesitant about going because of the area, but I will say the greeting was marvelous...that young man showed excellent customer service skills from the time you walk in and over all while you are there...the waitress was very attentive as well...once our time was up we moved to the bar and continued to have drinks and chat with the friendly staff....everything was great I must say...definitely glad I supported this establishment.
