Another perfect experience at Mildreds! I requested a quieter table and they accommodated to ensure it was a lovely, romantic experience. We had the loveliest experience. A wonderful tasting menu with added wine flight which complimented the food superbly. All courses were beautifully presented, tasted amazingly and service was discreet and professional. We are so lucky to have Chef James and Jodie at The Fig Tree, on our doorstep, delivering such delicious food and a fabulous experience.

I have visited the Sportsman on a few occasions and each time the service and the food are excellent. We have booked the pods a few times and if there is a group of you they are an excellent choice as it’s similar to having your own private dining room. I definitely recommend the Sportsman.

Valentines night for my wife and I, Wife is also Gluten Intolerant and they had NGGI for all ingredients not gluten, my wife had the Melt NGGI burger and I had the hot dog both came with skinny fries. My wife had the rhubarb and ginger gin and the GF chocolate torte. The food was excellent and service was brilliant, mein host Alan who looked after us superbly. We had an incredibly lovely evening and meal, thanks Alan.
