- RRJvipSan Diego •16 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoChose Eddie V's for our Wedding Anniversary dinner and could not have been happier with the outcome. The staff at Eddie V's, from the hosts to the waiter staff, were very positive and accomodating. First off, the presentation was exceptional, they had a hand written card wishing us a Happy Anniversary with rose petals waiting for us at our table. Our waiter (wish I had his name as he was excellent) brought us a couple of glasses of champagne to toast with at the beginning. Our waiter was exceptional. He made good recommendations, was not pushy in any way, and made us feel well taken care of. We ordered a Filet Mignon and their signature Sea Bass, with brussell sprouts side, all were excellent. The steak was cooked exactly to our liking and the sea bass was flaky and moist in a tasty sauce. The brought us a complimentary desert with ice cream, cookies, and a banana flambe. Such a nice touch. We are very picky about where we go out for dinner, as my wife is an exceptional cook, and Eddie V's exceeded our expectations. We will be coming back to celebrate with them again.More infoEddie V's - La JollaPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• La Jolla•4.9
- MMichaelVancouver / British Columbia •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe met up with old friends at Dockside1953 for an anniversary celebration. The atmosphere around the fire pit table was impressive and kept us warm during the evening. The service was excellent and not rushed at all. Our server was always on cue when pouring our wines and bringing the next drink. The food was outstanding. Both my friend and I had the filet mignon. We're both meat connoisseurs, and the steak here was the best I've had at any restaurant (or elsewhere for that matter). My buddy is a San Diego resident (I'm from Canada), and he'd never eaten here before. Dockside 1953 has become his new favorite restaurant. Our wives had the chicken and drugstore burger and loved it. Highly recommend.More infoDockside 1953Price: Moderate• Californian• Mission Beach•4.4

It was nice to enjoy their food againMore infoRoy's San Diego WaterfrontPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Downtown / Gaslamp•4.4
