Best Waterfront Restaurants in Union Beach

I grew up right across the bridge from the Molly Pitcher. We never could imagine dining at this famous place. Today, after many decades, I had the great good fortune to brunch here with an old friend. I have to say, I was not prepared for the quality of the entire experience. From welcoming ambiance, to drop- dead view to luscious food and impeccable service, it was more than I could have hoped for. San Francisco eateries have nothing on the MPI! I will absolutely dine here every time I am back this way.

Outstanding seafood restaurant with extensive menu of fresh seafood. Lobster pot pie and steamed Lobster were fairly priced and as good as it gets. I also rate the raw bar oysters and clams as perfect. Don't miss this place.

Fantastic food, especially the New Year’s specials like cheesy pull apart bread and lobster ravioli. Service was a little slow. Food was quick to be delivered to our table - entrees came out before we were done with appetizers - but was delivered by runners rather than our server so we had to sit with empty glasses till our server finally returned. Probably a staffing issue due to the New Year’s holiday.
