This was our first time at the Pink Door, one night I will never forget. From the moment we arrived the ambience made the experience feel classy. The decorations and lighting throughout fit the mood. Customer service and special request were accommodated positively and without hesitation. The menu was simple but not lacking, wasn’t an overwhelming amount to decide nor was it too small to not have options. The food was made at a high level with attention to detail and exquisite taste. It is where I proposed to my now fiancé and provided a night I can’t forget and will be somewhere we come for our special days. Go to the pink door, you will not be disappointed.

We haven’t been for awhile and Lechon was and is still one of the best restaurants and experiences. Food and drinks were amazing and service was 1000 percent worth going out and reminds you that old school good service while eating out still exists.

When we travel from Seattle to Portland we always try to have a dinner at Nostrana, The food is simply prepared and perfect every time we have had dinner. They serve a wide range of people from dating couples to oldsters like us. Drinks and wine also very well chosen and well prepared. Service is attentive. Be sure to get a reservation ! If you want a REAL FRENCH restaurant without flying to France, drive to Carleton OR and go to Cuvée. My wife is from France and I am now also have my French citizenship. Our friend asked us if this was typical of a good French restaurant. Definitely! Except the tables are much less cramped. Everything is made in house and the chef is the owner and he also waits on tables with the help of another man. We have been 3 or 4 times and when we visit the area, it is always a MUST DO. If you want a true example of excellent French cooking—YES, every bit as good as my mother-in-law’s—go to Cuvée!!!!!
