Best Fun Restaurants in Englewood

Went for Valentine's Day. We've been a couple of times before this and the food and service have been great. We both got pasta this time. Wife got the mushroom ragu and it was pheno,inal. I had the thai pasta and it was also very goo. We ended with the chocolate pecan pue which was excellent. Service from Alexa was 5 star.

Ocean Prime has wonderful food and service. Rebecca was awesome! It was our anniversary and we were greeted with a glass of complimentary champagne when we entered. We sat in the outside section that is covered and has screens, ceiling fans and heaters for all types of weather. I’m not sure how warm it would be on a warm summer evening, but it was perfect last night. The noise level where we were seated was fine, but as we left we noticed the noise inside was quite loud. There were alot of people at the bar which probably contributed to that. As a senior, I’m not sure sitting inside would be pleasant for those that may have difficulty hearing. Our view was good but they are beginning to construct a large condo building right next door to the restaurant. So I have concerns about the view while they continue to build and am unsure what it will look like when the construction is complete. And while everything was almost perfect, the price is also out of this world. For 2 people to have a couple of drinks, one appetizer, 2 mains with sides and 2 desserts, and parking, the price was almost $500 before tip. All that said, it was a wonderful anniversary dinner. Acqua Pazza is the Gem of the Wellen Park restaurant scene. All the staff are so friendly and accommodating. Place is beautiful inside. Even on Valentine’s night, the service and food was amazing. Manager Angela is the best. She makes you feel like family. She recently purchased a warm chocolate machine and has mastered the chocolate mix and can serve it in an espresso cup. It is amazing. We are hoping it is added to the menu soon as a dessert. It is rich and creamy and the perfect blend of dark and milk chocolate. I used to go to Brussels a lot and her presentation is better than the best in Brussels. The swordfish piccata, grilled octopus are amazing. The menu is very thought out and each dish is very special. Haley and all the bar crew are the best. Attentive, friendly, and just a pleasure to be with Restaurant is super clean and very modern. Bathrooms are beautiful with colorful tile walls. Yes, I highly recommend Acqua Pazza.

We had an incredible dining experience at The Banyan House! Our evening started at the bar with the signature Banyan Cosmo, which was not only delicious but also came with a fun twist—a bubble on top which was an amazing presentation. It was a perfect way to kick off our celebration for a friend’s birthday. For dinner, we enjoyed the ribeye, short rib, and grouper, and each dish was cooked to perfection. The flavors were rich, the portions generous, and the presentation top-notch. The menu offers excellent choices, ensuring something for everyone. A special shout-out goes to Cem, our server, whose exceptional attention to detail and warm personality made our celebration even more memorable. Cem was attentive without being intrusive, offering great recommendations and ensuring that our every need was met with a smile. The patio was airy and provided the perfect ambiance for a relaxed yet elegant dining experience. The atmosphere, combined with attentive service, made the night even more special. Overall, The Banyan House truly exceeded our expectations in every way. Fantastic food, great drinks, and a beautiful setting—highly recommend! We’ll definitely be back.

Wine Club tasting was great. Pairings of food with wines were spot on. New owners are keeping the vibe that Rumours is known for.
