Best Fun Restaurants in Fountain Valley

Greeted by a very cordial hostess then seated in a lovely outdoor area. Our waiter was patient with all of us as first time guests and he explained the menu in great detail. Pod was outstanding.

We ate at Plancha Dining and could not be more impressed with the food. Compared to your usual Hibachi/Asian food experience, this was on another level. Fantastic service, fantastic food. The chef was friendly and attentive and the server, Gio, took excellent care of us. I decided on Carne asada instead of Ribeye (a little more than I wanted to spend), but was completely surprised to receive some of the best Carne Asada I have ever eaten. The sauces served on the side were AMAZING. Mexican fried rice was so creative and delicious. We will definitely be back!

I've been going here for years because it's always reliable with great food. It was very busy last night because the theater had 2 shows. When it is that crowded, it is very noisy. Bottom line, reliable and great, especially if you're going to the theater.

Very good, it’s been this way past few years we have dined. The best way to dine is “Family Style” and add on some apps to share and choose the carbs…we like steamed jasmine rice, and garlic noodles. The Orange peel chicken is great…butterfish and the sizzling Ribeye!! *Get the ribeye med rare and it will continue cooking to med. yummm. Didn’t table side ice cream it was delicious and came with a fresh baked chocolate cookie.

We moved to California 11 years ago. We started going to Black Sngus in Fountain Valley. It has been one of the most frequent visited restaurants since then - for my family birthday and anniversary gatherings and for intimate dinners with my wife as we did tonight for our 41st anniversary!
