Originally known as Riverside Chinese Restaurant, the restaurant has been open since 1993. With the help of many within the local community we have managed to gather a fond following from the residents of Bursledon and the surrounding areas of Locks Heath, Warsash, Whitely, Hedge End and Hamble. In 2017 we went through a large scale refurbishment and rebranded ourselves as Little Canton. As a restaurant and takeaway with a delivery service and, uniquely, a dance floor and disco on weekends, we have always been perfectly placed to reach our customers at various junctures of their daily lives.     The starter was fine and noodles etc but the main course Kung Pao should have been spicy but wasn’t and it is a shame as I love spicy food so this was bland.

    We are not from the area but met here on the way to the ferry port. The staff were friendly and welcoming, great selection of beer and a nice atmosphere. We had steak and chips which was wonderful. Thank you.

    The food was generally OK however my 'toast' with my pate was just literally a bit of bread that had been shown the chargrill for about a minute and no part was crisp. The rest of the food was great the service however was slooooow, drinks took ages to arrive, the rest of the food arrived in a reasonable time but clearing took a while and took us about 15 mins to pay the bill after it had arrived.

    Really good night out. We booked on the OpenTable app and I don' t think they knew we were coming but managed to squeeze us in. We had a great table and it was a very busy night with a 30, 50, 60 and 70 birthday party in full swing. The music was low level and just about right until about 10pm and the DJ announced that it was time to party and the classic tunes went on and the dancing started. All in all a great night with reasonably decent food, especially with it being so busy. Good service and again it was very busy so good to have service even at this busy level.
