As always the experience was top notch in all ways. And our server, Avery, was superb. Her menu knowledge was excellent. She was conversationally responsive to us and clearly knows how to approach dining guests without interrupting them. A+

Really love the red line in. The ambience is wonderful and the service impeccable. My husband’s steak free was excellent and he enjoyed his wedge salad. I really like the clam chowder, but the turkey sandwich was a bit dry and the way they cut it looked almost manufactured. I added stuffing to the sandwich for an additional two dollars and it was cut almost too perfect in a square flat shape like it was pre-bought that way. The pecan pie and the warm caramel cake. We’re both excellent as well.

I’ve been meaning to try Willy’s for a long time after getting a recommendation from a friend. Reservations need to be made well in advance for a booth but we got two seats at the Sushi bar 2 hours ahead. Full menu is available no matter where you sit. I got the 14oz strip steak with truffle butter and au jus, wife got the swordfish w/ beurre blanc. My steak was perfectly medium rare. My wife liked her swordfish but wished she got the steak. We got chocolate cake for dessert to go. Very rich and chocolatey. Overall the space is small and can get fairly lively and loud easily but felt like a good vibe anyway. My wife said they need a coat check for the bar seating it is definitely intimate seating. We had a great date night dinner for a great value and would do it again when we can get a booth.

Our overall experience at Millwright’s was fabulous! Delicious food, spectacular ambiance, and impeccable service. Tucked away in a cozy booth we were able to enjoy a lovely New England wintery scene with the beautiful brook below. The Christmas prix fixe was delight after delight and the cherry on top of our evening was the attention and care brought by our server Ron. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and brought great banter to the table. I know he really made the evening for our whole party.

We had a great time, and the food was amazing. The baked Brie was fantastic! Matt and Jeffery were attentive and personable. We look forward to going back to Johnny’s Tavern!
