Great as always the mushroom potato ravioli was outstanding , the ousso bucco was terrific and the pasta with venison and mushrooms was very good and very rich and flavorful, a little bread was definitely helpful , the chocolate mousse was perfect and the apple crostini was done well with a very sweet top crust . Knowledgeable staff, very attentive service in a lovely venue. Our server graciously accommodated special requests and we found all courses of the tea service to be fresh & flavorful. We’ve had afternoon tea at many places, but this was the best so far.

I have been coming to this restaurant for years now. And whilst obviously the staff change , the sense of the place never does. Wonderful food, excellent service and thank you for giving me my favourite table.

Lovely afternoon tea in a fabulous hotel - we loved it! Annie, our waitress, was absolutely lovely, warm and friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The two ladies who greeted us on arrival for the afternoon tea were less friendly and welcoming. Lovely food though - well done Whitby!
