Best Healthy Restaurants in Portsmouth

I have been to Hemenway's in the past and this restaurant never ceases to be top notch. The Service (shoutout to Mia!) was fantastic and the food and atmosphere outstanding. I highly recommend Hemenway's. We were celebrating an anniversary and it was pretty cool that our table was sprinkled with rose petals and we were greeted numerous times with a hearty "Happy Anniversary! by a number of the wait staff and greeters(?). Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants anywhere!

We had a delightful evening! Our server, Eden, was simply lovely and made us feel welcome. Our meal was delectable. I had the duck and my husband had the steak Diane, which are our favorite items on the menu. We are never disappointed! We look forward to returning soon. It’s a popular place, for good reason, so I need to book a reservation in advance. See you soon!

It was a busy evening but we were seated promptly, I had requested a certain booth on the open table request, which we were able to get. The server was excellent, friendly, attentive. We ordered beet salad, squash soup, and 2 different pizzas. We received our order fairly quickly. Salad was good, we like having a healthy salad option that not all casual restaurants offer! Soup & pizza were very good. Pizza had a nice crunchy crust, it was served nice and hot. Also, the mojito mocktail was very good! We've come here many times, and nice to see they are maintaining their quality.

Salmon quinoa bowl delicious. While it had some greens, would have liked a bit more (I like a green serving nightly). Husband liked lamb burger - suggest options for other rolls besides brioche as brioche contains milk (not good for those with allergy). He got pita instead but couldn’t eat as sandwich given plating. Other party took home half of fish given size! Really good food and service all around.
