For our party of five, we indulged in an incredible array of dishes: - Pulpo Anticuchero - Anticuchos - Ceviche Tasting - Planchada a la Mar - Grilled Salmon - Chicharrón de Calamar - La Mar Pulpo - Tomahawk 40oz All paired perfectly with the refreshing Kola and Chicha Morada. This wasn’t the first visit for some of us, but once again, La Mar exceeded expectations. The speed and quality of service were remarkable, making the experience seamless and enjoyable. Expensive but really great restaurant. Enter to a huge , chic, family style restaurant. Table for 20, table for two, open kitchen and lamb roasting on the flame. Chic but not intimidating. Warm and cozy. You will enter another universe, close to downtown SF. Food is really great, instantly making you travel in the Mediterranean sea. The food is simple but it’s working really well.

So sorry I do not remember our server’s name, because he provided amazing service. In fact, all the staff we interacted with were amazing. The food was more than delicious, it was mouthwatering. View of the bay is spectacular! Oh yes, he asked if we were celebrating any special occasion. We were out celebrating a birthday and anniversary. He surprised us with two tasty brownie bites. Trust me, dine here and you will not be disappointed.

Acre is an amazing restaurant. It’s a rare gem where the execution across the board is outstanding. It consistently delivers excellent food in a great atmosphere with top notch service. I’ve been for a casual night with friends to an anniversary dinner and it was perfect for both- a great time with fantastic food!
