My wife went with the lamb. Cooked perfectly and excellent flavor. I tried something different in the country fried venison with yukon gold mashed and collards. Might just be the best southern staple turned into fine dining I've ever experienced. Our waiter was excellent and extremely friendly, and all the staff was very welcoming. The crab cake was the best crab cake I’ve had in the south (I’m from NH and not to brag New England crab cakes are better than southern crab cakes), my steak was incredible and my fiancée’s fish was delicious. The kitchen liven prepared a little fruit plate with chocolate hearts on it for the special occasion, for which I didn’t even need to request.
