- LLynnMinneapolis - St. Paul •4 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThis was our first time at Joan's. Everything about our experience was fantastic! The service was prompt, friendly, and educational. The owner and Chef were interactive with the guests. Both of us agreed that this was the best tasting menu that we have ever experienced. We have eaten at many fine dining restaurants from Alinea on down and truly do feel this was the greatest. The presentation was gorgeous, the wine pairings were spot on, and the lemon dessert brought tears to my wife as it reminded her of her grandmother's recipe. Our anniversary is in 2 weeks. As soon as we got home, we canceled the reservation we had and booked to celebrate at Joan's in the Park! Thank you, ladies, for the grand experience!More infojoan's in the ParkPrice: Very Expensive• American• Saint Paul•4.9
- DDawnMinneapolis - St. Paul •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe ordered bruschetta as an appetizer, very tasty! We both ordered the Rib-eye, I ordered garlic mashed potatoes with it and he ordered the horseradish mashed potatoes. Our meals got switched. So I got his potatoes. I didn’t even notice, just thought they were bland. Apparently there was horseradish placed on it in the middle. I asked my boyfriend how his potato’s were and he said they were good. I asked him to try mine….he got a mouthful of horseradish, probably no potatoes, haha. That’s when we figured out the switch up on the potatoes. Not a big deal, we just laughed it off. I didn’t get to try the garlic mashed, they must have been good cause there were none left on my boyfriend’s plate lol. Anyway, the sauce that comes with it was so amazing! It was like a garlic cream sauce. I am still craving more! It was good on the steak, veggies and potatoes. The steak was very good quality and cooked to Medium Rare perfection. Definitely worth the $55 each. Our waiter, Clayton, was so professional and excellent. Overall a very pleasant experience! I’m sure we will be back in the future.More infoDowntowner Woodfire GrillPrice: Expensive• American• Saint Paul•4.7
- CClydeMinneapolis - St. Paul •10 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoI just wrote a review last week, but I have to let you know how wonderful the superfood salad was!!! It is great that something so nutritious can taste so good. My friend’s burger and my other friend’s turkey cranberry sandwich was also delicious. They both love the French fries, it was difficult to resist not eating some as they were willing to share. Our service was fantastic as well. Thank you, Jan Doepner PS. It was good to see the restaurant well attended, I think people are starting to discover what a treasure it is.More info1881 by LEIPrice: Moderate• American• Saint Paul•4.5
