Best Historic Restaurants in Calgary

My fourth time dining here and it continues to impress on all fronts. Was out for a girls night with a friend and our daughters - the kids menu was great, and our entree and experience was superb. Kids had spaghetti, salmon, and chicken fingers off the menu, we had the beef tartare, the chateau Briand with Brussels sprouts and risotto. The beef was exceptional. Great service and environment altogether. Can’t say enough good things about this restaurant and the hotel as a whole. 10/10!

Our server Steph was great. Was able to assist with recommendations and was able to keep up with service on a busy night. Never had to fill our own wine glasses which is a rarity considering how quickly my wife and I consume a bottle. All dishes were expertly prepared and tasted amazing. Could see Chef Pigot leading the brigade throughout the night. The manager Stephen was working the room, ensuring all guests were taken care of. A well oiled machine during a busy service at Pat&Betty!

Amazing food, amazing service, amazing everything! We celebrated Christmas, 3 Birthdays and an early New Year with our friends (an annual tradition) and we’d been to Teatro’s for this same tradition years ago, we loved it then and we loved it even more this time! We received exceptional service by our waitress she was absolutely amazing! The food was to die for and for a special event such as this, the 6 of us were so happy we picked Teatro’s again! Thank you so much!

We had brunch here during the holidays. Delicious food very well prepared and presented. Friendly attentive service while keeping it casual. The menu is unique and both dishes were very tasty with fresh and unique ingredients. Well done and we will be back. Also you can’t beat the unique space of the honeycomb roof and fire places to keep warm, very sweet.

I had a fantastic anniversary dinner at Annabelle’s Kitchen Downtown. The food was exceptional, clearly made with care, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere was great, though a loud customer caused a slight disruption. Overall, a wonderful experience that I’ll definitely repeat!
