Johnny’s Downtown, opened in 1993, is similar to the original Johnny’s Bar on Fulton Road, featuring pasta, veal and fish. The setting, a refurbished 1860’s Warehouse District building, formerly a general store, is the drinking and dining spot of locals and business people alike. Our waiter was a young man, home from college and working at the restaurant. He was delightful and made sure we were well taken care of. A lovely dinner, the best clam pasta I've ever eaten and fabulous cannolli!

Another wonderful meal at Johnny's and a fun night. We always like to sit in the bar area if it is Monday-Friday to listen to Mike Petrone play. He gets the crowd singing and is wonderful. The food is fabulous also. I had the beef short ribs and they melted in my mouth. Others had the crusted grouper and veal chop which was both excellent. Highly recommend.
