- CCathyAsheville / Western North Carolina •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoThe ceviche was so fresh and flavorful. The filet was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. The cocktail “The Bees Knees” was delightfully tasty. Service was excellent and ambiance was a refreshing change from the usual dark and loud.More infoMonarch at Grand GalvezPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Galveston•4.4

- LLarissaHouston •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoEVERYTHING about this restaurant was exquisite. The ambience was romantic and friendly and just beautiful. The staff from the time we walked in until the time we left were attentive. We were seated quickly and the wait staff was there immediately. Kristin was our waitress she is incredibly knowledgeable of the menu and the specials. Gave us recommendations based on her own experience that’s so important, so many restaurants have wait staff that has never tasted the food. THE FOOD!!! The food was literally the best we have had in our life. Truly impeccable. We will be back!!!!More infoVargas Cut & CatchPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Galveston•4.9
- RRonSan Diego •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe made dinner reservations for 3:45pm and were promptly seated. Very good time as restaurant had a calming ambience before the crowds. Nice place with multiple seating areas from front to back. We were seated in Dinning Room which is 1/2 through the restaurant. We started with their Appetizer Platter & bottle of Italian red wine (Delacorte). Of course it was a delicious blend that our waiter Nathan said was popular with guests. For Entrees we enjoyed their Scallops (including a selection of local fish from the Gulf), and Lasagna Bologne. They were both hot and delicious. Of course everything about the dining out experience is strongly influenced by the staff employed, and our Server Nathan was efficient, knowledgeable, friendly & actually appeared to enjoy working there! We’d definitely return next time - this place is a welcome alternative from our “rushed” dining experiences back home in San Diego.More infoRiondo's RistorantePrice: Moderate• Italian• Galveston•4.7
