The Lexington is more than a restaurant, it’s an institution. Located on the corner of Lexington Parkway and Grand Avenue, this St. Paul community was the most fashionable at the turn of the 19th century. The St. Paul elite lived just blocks away and the first electric trolley brought visitors up and down Grand Avenue. The Lexington opened in 1935, after the end of prohibition, and was a popular neighborhood bar to gather and socialize. Previously operating as a speakeasy, the expansive wood panels were perfect for hiding a little booze and one can only imagine the shenanigans going on beyond the hidden staircase behind the coat check. For decades following, The Lex, as it’s called by locals and enthusiasts alike, was the place to be seen; business dealings, cocktail hours, and milestone celebrations were a regular occurrence for St. Paul socialites.

Celebrated my husband’s birthday here, our 1st experience at Holman’s Table with 7ppl in our party. The ambiance, views, occasional plane taking off or landing, our dinner, drinks, and service overall were outstanding. In addition to all of this, the prices were reasonable. Their attention to detail is well worth it. They also willingly and professionally cater to gluten free/celiac needs. Extremely pleased with our experience. Highly recommend!

1881 is an "open-air" restaurant in Union Depot. The decor, service, ambiance, and food were all outstanding. The restaurant is also associated with the Lake Elmo Inn, which we've enjoyed. Do realize there are people coming and going, as there are other businesses within the depot, to include train operations. We did enjoy our meal. The service was outstanding and the setting was unique. We plan to return on a regular basis.

Took the Intercontinental Hotel shuttle from the airport to the restaurant located in the hotel. So convenient! The food was excellent. The service a bit slow.. however not unusual these days. All in all a good dining experience.
