Located in the heart of Gramercy in the restored Assembly Hall of the landmarked United Charities Building, Hawksmoor is a steak restaurant that celebrates all-natural, pasture-reared, and traditionally dry-aged beef. Our beef is seasoned simply with sea salt and cooked over live-fire charcoal. Our seafood is locally and sustainably sourced from northeastern waters and we use small-farm produce whenever possible. On Sunday afternoons Hawksmoor keeps with the tried-and-true British tradition and features a Sunday Roast. Completing our offerings are award-winning cocktails, including New York City's coldest martini, and a carefully curated wine selection. The restaurant houses 150 in the dining room and 35 in the bar area. There are also two private dining rooms that can hold 12 people and serve exclusive, family-style menus.

A typical food love story. A boy meets a girl while eating pizza. He attends culinary school and open’s a pizza restaurant named after the girl. Thus bringing us to Emily! The Manhattan iteration of the Brooklyn based pizzeria centered around a historic brick oven and comforting food. Emily has earned a following for its signature Detroit-style pies and award winning burger. The pizza here is rectangular (not round) and utilizes the "frico" technique, in which cheese is drizzled on the edges of the pie to create a crispy brown exterior. Beyond the main event, the menu extends to include salads and sandwiches, which shouldn't be ignored (think an attention-grabbing burger and a top-notch spicy fried chicken sandwich). Please note, there will be a time limit of 1 hour 30 minutes for guests so we can fairly utilize our limited capacity. Our outdoor dining is enclosed with heaters that will keep you toasty! Thank you :)

It was an intimate and romantic experience with my beautiful partner. The food was delicious. The drinks were great as well that we tried other cocktails on the menu. Coup D’amour was her favorite and the Bentley was mine as well as the Oldest Fashioned.Beef Wellington was the highlight of our night with the pastry and beef being well-seasoned and cooked perfectly medium-rare. Finished the night off with a special request from the restaurant with a desert spelling out happy birthday.

The steak and cocktails were top notch and well worth the price. The bone marrow appetizer is good but doesn't need the onions on top, and the Caesar salad components were great, good anchovies, croutons and Parmesan but the romaine was a bit watery which diluted the flavor of the dressing, so was disappointing. We found the beef tallow fries very meh, but I think that was just a preference for the thinner cut, crispier frites. We had the sticky toffee pudding and the peanut butter Louis for dessert and they were amazing. Next time we'll get the creamed spinach and the Mac n cheese for sides, there will definitely be a next time, even though this place is expensive, it's worth it.
