Best Historic Restaurants in Lakewood

I took my son here for the first time and he loved the food. We’ve driven by here for years and he has been asking to go here because he specifically loves salmon. He ends up ordering the cavatelli with lobster and ones it. He tried some of my lobster bisque, loved that too! I had the special, Chilean sea bass, and it was absolutely incredible. The service was amazing. Our server who went by, Bird, was outstanding. Our drinks and waters were always full and she always greeted us with a smile. Our food was served at room temperature , the food tasted delicious but I prefer my food hot . I think they should give you new silverware with each course . The server was great and made recommendations.

Professional restauranters are running this restaurant. This is old school service. Front end staff is pleasant and knowledgeable. Managers are attentive. Bartender is a pro. Our apps (we had 4 I'm embarrassed to admit) were excellent. The crab app and the mushroom gnocchi app (available in bar) were outstanding. My entre (grouper) was very salty but I will give that a pass because everything else was excellent. If you are seeking an old school fine dining experience with knowledgeable and personable wait staff in Cleveland, it is basically down to Johnny's on Fulton and Blue Point. I put this place on a level with several first rate restaurants in Manhattan and Washington D.C.
