Best Historic Restaurants in Hellertown

Came here for an anniversary with my boyfriend! We had an amazing experience and our reservation was for 5:45. We were seated at 5:30 and served in great time and the food was great.

We’re so sorry to see this gem close! It has been a go-to place for us because of the consistency of both food and service, which remained outstanding. We never experienced an off night. Luke and Rachel ran an excellent restaurant and we commend them. We wish them well and hope they will continue to share their talents somewhere in the Lehigh Valley.

Enjoyed a lovely lunch here for my sister’s birthday! Love the old tavern atmosphere which is maintained well and decorated for the holidays. The staff was super helpful in getting my 95YO grandmother in with her wheelchair. The food was delicious (tavern burgers were popular) and the flourless chocolate cake was perfect: so rich and creamy (and GF)! Also enjoyed the stuffed mushrooms and hawk sliders (both very good). Thanks for being so accommodating and for the great service at a very busy time of year!

We celebrated our birthdays with lunch. We were greeted at the front desk area and the excellent service continued with the server at lunch. After receiving some glorious cocktails the food was excellent. So delicious. We plan on making this an annual date. Hotel Bethlehem is so special but particularly so during tbe holiday season. Thank you for a wonderful day.
