- SSaraSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined todayJohn’s is just the very best of everything. The whole place is San Francisco’s very soul and the excellence in their staff and food are a direct reflection of that. There is no better place to feel the true spirit of this beautiful city and all who want to bask in its love. And the cheesecake is sublime!More infoHistoric John's GrillPrice: Expensive• American• Downtown / Union Square•4.7

- JJanetSan Francisco Bay Area •5 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe had a large group for afternoon tea at the Post Room. We were seated in a large, beautiful, semi-private room. The servers and service were wonderful. I loved the way they presented the options for tea by coming around with a cart with dry tea leaves in glass vessels to smell before choosing. The bourbon vanilla rooibos was particularly good! The table, dishes, and tea service were beautiful. My only suggestion for improvement would be to make the sandwiches a little more robust, so you get a better balance of savory and sweet. I hope that the Post Room will start doing afternoon tea year round!More infoThe Post RoomPrice: Expensive• Californian• Downtown / Union Square•4.3
- RrobinVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •94 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoThe food is delicious and creative, not the usual predictable far. The chef owner is from Turkey. The breaking of bread appetizer with various Turkish spread like hummus, smoked red pepper compote, olives and pickled vegetables was such fun to share. I had the Anatolian pasta dish with mushrooms, hazelnuts and winter squash while my friend had lamb ribs.More infoDalidaPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Presidio•4.7
