Best Historic Restaurants in Cobham

As always delicious food and great service. We particularly enjoyed the wine on this visit, merlot and pinot rose. We'll be back again soon x

This restaurant had been recommended to us and it didn't disappoint. The only downside was trying to find parking nearby as Open Table suggested it would be easy to park in the street after 6pm BUT it wasn't! The restaurant itself is quite intimate and contemporary. The food choices were many and varied but as we hadn't eaten Chinese food in a restaurant for quite some time, we went with the larger set menu for the whole table. The mixed Dim Sum were soft and pillowy, the crispy duck was really tasty and the pancakes were super thin, the remainder of the meal involved a large bowl of Singapore noodles with dishes of black cod, pork and beef. The black cod was to die for, the pork was sticky and crisp and only the beef was a little disappointing in that the texture of the beef did not seem quite right but that was not the view of the whole table as they easily ate the lot. We would certainly recommend The Mira and will be trying something from the many other menu choices next time we go. Lots of the tables were choosing the whole BBQ duck but that does need ordering in advance for anyone else considering trying it from the menu.
