The Manhattan iteration of the Brooklyn based pizzeria centered around a historic brick oven and comforting food. Emily has earned a following for its signature Detroit-style pies and award winning burger. The pizza here is rectangular (not round) and utilizes the "frico" technique, in which cheese is drizzled on the edges of the pie to create a crispy brown exterior. Our server Kelly was the best! Friendly and attentive without being overly being so. She went above and beyond when they comped a dessert AND added a free one because it came out late. The ambiance was great. Food was good but the overall experience was capped by her welcome attention to detail and genuine friendliness. Thanks and will definitely be back in the future here! The fish branzini and steak was perfect! Thanks for making our small reunion memorable.
