    Superb place really magical ambience. The staff were brilliant; friendly and attentive. Went for a Christmas meal with my daughter and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent and the ox cheek sublime. Can’t wait to go again next time in York.

    I had a delightful afternoon tea at Betty's Tea Room that exceeded all expectations. The ambiance was charming, with elegant decor and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The selection of teas was superb, perfectly complemented by freshly baked scones served with clotted cream and homemade jam. The assortment of finger sandwiches was fresh and flavorful, while the pastries, particularly the chocolate macrons and were exquisite. The attentive staff provided impeccable service, making us feel truly special.     A very relaxed lunch with work colleagues. Good choice of food and drink for all appetites and some nice non-alcohol / veggie / vegan options. Service was relaxed and friendly and we could keep our table for as long as we wanted. The interior was lovely and beautifully clean. Would definitely book again!

    From the moment we entered the building the service was outstanding,confirming our booking and showing us your table,confirming my birthday. Not wanting a large meal we opted for fish and chips and a burger meal both arrived in good time and the good as I expected was 1st class. We had a couple of drinks and paid .a truly enjoyable birthday meal. Thankyou
