- JJohnYorkshire •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoBought as a Christmas present for my wife and I and have to say thoroughly enjoyed the experience. This meant we didn’t have to queue as we’ve seen happen previously. Although the afternoon tea tiers don’t look much, we found it filling so much so we had take away the sweet treats to consume later. Excellent service and there was no sense of eat up and leave. Also enjoyed the piano playing in the background. Highly recomnend a visit.More infoBettys Café Tea Rooms - YorkPrice: Very Expensive• Afternoon Tea• York•4.7
- LLeeLondon •4 reviews5.0Dined on 3 Jan 2025Our experience at the Refectory was outstanding. The ambience and overall feel of the restaurant was relaxing and chilled. The food was simply some of the best we have ever had (now I really understand what an explosion of flavours means when they say it on Masterchef). Prices I would say were mid to high but the food was worth every single penny. Staff were attentive without being overly so & myself and my husband will definitely return when we visit York again.More infoYork Minster RefectoryPrice: Expensive• British• York•4.5
- JJonathanYorkshire •3 reviews5.0Dined on 23 Dec 2024Family night out for start to Xmas. Easy to reserve table on internet, we turned up a bit early so went for a drink in bar. That was a little more noisier but not too bad. Shown to table in the ‘Snug’ where it was much quieter and food orders taken quite quickly. Food comes owed to order so took a while to arrive but it was worth it, the food was piping hot, well presented and tasted lovely Will definately go back againMore infoThe Fat Badger YorkPrice: Moderate• British• York•4.5
