Happily, that's just the experience to be found here at Hooked on the Rocks, which is just yards from the shore of Swanpool beach near Falmouth. Great food, slightly high prices considering we had to buy sides for a main meal to actually make it a dish. We did however, find it very cold in the pub, especially having to have the door open to help ventilate whilst the fireplace was on.

Absolutely gorgeous. Not a single fault! The food was incredible; we particularly like the small plates and starters. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was lovely 10/10.

The most delicious food, seriously would recommend to strangers on the street if I could! Every last bite as delicious as the last. Service was excellent, attentive to just the right degree. We went later in the evening so was quieter but the atmosphere was still really great. Such a great little spot that we will definitely be returning to!

Tried The Longstore after it was recommended by a colleague. First impression was great, a large woodburner keeping it warm, comfortable chairs and a very nice staff. Although the music was to our taste, it was a tiny bit too loud but they happily turned it down a notch on request. The food was outstanding. We had scallops to start, then Rib Eye steak. I asked to have an extra salad rather than the bits that came with the steak and I must say it was the most delicious salad I have ever had and a massive portion too! I hardly ever tip, but today they got a well deserved 10%. Definitely going back!
