Best Hot Spot Restaurants in Battery Park City

Odeon is one of my favorite restaurants - my go-to when I want a relaxed, pleasant meal with great food. Tonight I had a lovely French Onion Soup with the perfect amount of carefully toasted cheese, croutons and onions. The broth alone is a worthy, rich appetizer. The macaroni and cheese was the ultimate comfort food for this chilly evening - cheesy without being too thick or too soft - that I paired with a basic but tasty mixed green salad to make me feel healthy. I finished with my favorite dessert - the toffee pudding. It is sweet with just a touch of chewy caramelization on the crust to contrast with the tender center and an accent spoonful of perfect whipped cream. The staff - from the maitre’d to the waitresses to the servers and busboys - are exceptionally kind, efficient and just nice people. Yes, I love Odeon!

LOVE Bondst. My favorite Japanese resto in NYC 25 years and counting. And I love how they take care of their regulars. Best order... Yuzu Martini, crab salad, tuna crispy rice, spicy crispy shrimp, chicken katsu bao, miso sea bass skewers, and chocolate lava cake.

Lovely experience. Our server had the best recommendations and whenever there was a need for something he was there to help. The food was delicious and I had to hold myself back from ordering more

It was very elegant, the view at night was gorgeous, the presentation and service was amazing 10/10. Food did take a little longer than expected but when it came we devoured our plates. The pork chops are very juicy with a sweet light sauce on top very delicious. The burger is also a good option with the caramelized onions. The only pictures we took of the food was the Caesar salad which was also decent.

We came into the city for Happy Hour and to preview a room for an upcoming event. We sat in the glass covered rooftop, which was sunny and airy although biting cold outside. The heaters in the room and fur covered seats gave a cozy feel to the room. Our server Edwar was excellent and attentive. The drinks from the Bar were some of the best I've had. (chocolate martini and the blueberry mojito). We ordered the lil brg and truffle fries, wagyu meatballs, and the short rib quesadilla, all delicious. The piped in music was a little loud for me, after a drink it did not seem to bother me. We enjoyed our to go deserts (cheesecake and the applepie) when we got home, excellent. Closest parking was on Jane street, and was expensive Friday prior to 4pm. Meter parking is available after 4 on the weekdays and weekend, may be more reasonable. Thank you!!!!!
