Best Hot Spot Restaurants in Matawan

Great food, service, and atmosphere. However, music is to loud and can’t hardly hear your party conversations. I asked to lower it a pinch and that didn’t happen. Not a good place to socialize at the table. Better at the bar to do that.

We did the omakase and it was soooo worth the money! Everyone at Nobu was so pleasant. Christian was so attentive and gave us detailed explanations of the plates we devoured. The dessert was to die for!

Excellent dining experience. The ambiance was perfect with it being loud enough to where you can tell this is a coveted establishment, but quite enough you can have a conversation. Our server, Marc, was incredible. He carried a smile that was incredibly welcoming and offered so much insight into the menu. The food… heavenly. The skirt steak was perfectly cooked, and perfectly seasoned. Complimented well with fresh guacamole which was surprisingly very good. The cocktails were creative and well presented. 618 did not sacrifice on taste for this presentation as the mix of a fig whiskey-sour was very refreshing. It is often the case where restaurants will sacrifice on the quality of the service for presentation/aesthetic. This is not the case with 618 as they perfected both service and aesthetic. I would make the drive back easily regardless of the long commute.

The location, the food & service was excellent. We enjoyed the views it was very romantic. The service was perfect and walking on the boardwalk was refreshing.
