Review for Tequila Chulos Tequila Chulos is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We started with the queso blanco, which was perfectly creamy and full of flavor—definitely one of the best we’ve had. For our main course, we ordered the fajitas, and they did not disappoint! The sizzling platter came loaded with tender, well-seasoned meat and fresh veggies, all perfectly cooked. Of course, no visit would be complete without margaritas, and Tequila Chulos knows how to make them right! They were refreshing, well-balanced, and just the right amount of strong. Everything from the food to the drinks to the service was top-notch. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

We have used Mahogany to celebrate our major events in our 57 of marriage. Tonight we celebrated our 59th Valentine’s Day since we were first together. Tonight was a very busy night so all servers were much more busy than we had experienced in the past. The food was as excellent as usual, but we had much less interaction with servers than in the past. This interaction was a major attraction for us in the past. I still would recommend them highly.

An Unforgettable Dining Experience! Valentine’s Day—one of the busiest nights for dining out—turned into an unexpectedly perfect evening when I took my kids to this incredible Japanese restaurant. It was our first visit, and I can confidently say I would go back day after day! Let’s start with the food: the Gyoza was hands down the best I’ve ever had in my entire life. Every bite was packed with flavor, perfectly crispy on the outside and deliciously tender inside. My kids each enjoyed different sushi rolls, and to my surprise, the California Roll was the biggest hit for my youngest—everyone at the table devoured it! We also sampled multiple appetizers, all of which were fantastic. The cocktails were not only fun but also expertly crafted and absolutely delicious. Beyond the food, the atmosphere was simply breathtaking. This is, without a doubt, the most authentically decorated Japanese restaurant within at least 500 miles. It truly felt like we had been transported out of the city and into a whole new world. The renovation is stunning, and you can tell the owner put her heart and soul into every detail—both in the ambiance and on the menu. Our server was exceptional. She gave spot-on recommendations, was incredibly knowledgeable, and you could tell she genuinely loved the food herself. Her passion and attentiveness made the experience even more enjoyable. From start to finish, this was an absolute 10+/10 experience! If you haven’t been, go now—you won’t regret it!

Great service but disappointed that we didn’t get a both with lake view, as we reserved. Our parents are in their 80’s and we wanted a great experience with them. Might not reserve a table here again, if they can’t fulfill our request. Tables opened up within 5 minutes of being seated!😡

Just happened upon this place. The food was excellent. The strudel appetizer and the Caesar with chicken were both remarkable. The server was very attentive. Great experience!
