Best Hot Spot Restaurants in Tinton Falls

We love how they decorate for Christmas but were disappointed that all the decorations were down and the vibe didn’t feel the same. We had a reservation but had to wait 25 minutes for our table. Our waiter was very curt and not attentive. This was such a dramatically different experience from our previous times and now not worth the almost hour drive. Was shocked by this and so disappointed. Frankly, all of the staff seemed grumpy!

The meal was delicious as always. I had the Butter Nut squash Taost, very good! I followed up with Grilled Cheese and Butter Nut Squash soup. It was soo good!

We ordered about 6 apps to start. They came out at different times. I thought it was a good thing. The stuffed artichoke was good. But tell the chef to add an egg ti the stuffing mix to help hold it together. As always the limoncello wings were great. Even the mozzarella squares were awesome. I had the regular short rib entree. It was to due for. Fork tender. Veggies were cooked to perfection, not mushy or over cooked. All and all, very pleasant experience

Rooney’s is one of my favorite restaurants. The food and the service are always terrific. And even on a rainy day the seaside atmosphere is perfect.

Everything was outstanding. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with smiles. We were shown to our tables and with two smalls kids, we were first asked if the table was acceptable. This felt like a breath of fresh air- to have others validate the concern of table space and comfortability when dining with your kids. Our waiter, Mike, was patient and kind to my kids. He told us about all the specials and drink options he thought we’d enjoy. He told us his favorites which swayed us in to ordering the potato spuds for an appetizer. There was no hesitation after the first bite that Mike did not steer us wrong. Our entrees were cooked to perfection. We ordered drinks, based on Mikes recommendations, that were customized to our celebrations (birthday and new years). This made us feel like Mike really took the time out to make sure we had the best experience possible. During our dessert, another server Dan, stopped by our table to wish us a happy birthday and to acknowledge how well behaved my kids were being. I appreciate coming to a restaurant where we can eat amazing food, have really great drinks, and have an over the top experience. Thank you Mike and 618 for a perfect night for my family.
