- GGaryVIPSacramento / Sacramento Valley •16 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoBrunch at Sheldon Inn is always wonderful because the food is of the highest quality restaurant in Elk Grove, rivaling Boulevard Bistro. We had the Farmer's Breakfast, which consists of two eggs as you like, sourdough toast, bacon, ham,, linguica, and breakfast potatoes with peppers and onions. Everything was wonderful except the toast -- Sheldon Inn really needs to upgrade its toast to buttered wheat toast as at Black Bear diner, instead of that hard, difficult to digest sourdough toast a(without butter) that they serve. I almost choked trying toi eat it and it tasted like week old bread to me. The rest of the breakfast is wonderful, except for this one item that Sheldon Inn management really needs to change. We sat at a table in the bar, which does make it a bit difficult to hear others at your table but it is a nice and warm environment. We could not get into the dining room because of the Valentine Day crowd and the courtyard, which is so lovely and needly magical in the summertime, was not really a consideration, given the cool temperatures and rainy weather, which will continue likely for three to four weeks. Allin all, a wonderful Elk Grove tradition that I recommend to everyone in the Sacramento - Stockton area.More infoSheldon Inn Restaurant & BarPrice: Expensive• American• Elk Grove•4.7
- JJeffreyVIPSacramento / Sacramento Valley •20 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoMy wife and I had a wonderful belated Valentine’s Day dinner at Allora. The Polpo and Mussel starters were magnificent. Her entree of Waygu steak was very tender and flavorful. My scallops were excellent. Our waitress remembered us from previous visits and was friendly and knowledgeable of all the options on the menu. When the bar did not have the whiskey I requested they suggested a replacement that was a perfect substitute. The service , atmosphere and food were impeccable. A memorable experience.More infoAlloraPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• Sacramento•4.9

We got to take anything we didn’t eat home, and their champagne was delicious! We had a perfect night, and all of the staff was amazing to us. We’ll definitely be back!More infoElla Dining Room and BarPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Sacramento•4.7
- AAbeVIPSacramento / Sacramento Valley •34 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoStill my favorite eats in Sac. Valentine’s meal was amazing. My wife and I will always return and bring friends and visitors because we trust Canon. My only request is please get some non alcohol beer. Literally the biggest trend in food and beverage right now, everyone has great ones… and $8 bitter sodas are just not where it’s at. Normalize more non alcohol options!More infoCanonPrice: Expensive• American• Sacramento•4.7
- MMorganSacramento / Sacramento Valley •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoThe food was absolutely amazing! The fillet mignon was cooked to perfection (medium rare) and melted in my mouth. The lobster was also perfectly cooked and when dipped in the Old Bay butter…excellent! We brought our own bottle of wine and enjoyed a table-side view of the Sacramento River during sunset. Our waiter was wonderful in provided recommendations for starters (crab bisque), which we enjoyed. Our waiter Miguel was a wonderful mix of checking on us, but also allowing us to enjoy our food and conversation.More infoScott's Seafood on the RiverPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Sacramento•4.6
