Best Neighbourhood Gem Restaurants in Kent

We had a leisurely and delicious holiday lunch with my uncle and aunt today. The setting is beautiful. The decor is stunning. The view never disappoints. The service is professional, courteous and knowledgeable. The pace was just right. We ordered the scallops, short ribs, chicken piccata and Italian chicken napoleon. They were all delectable and the servings were generous. The wine recommendations were spot on. The desserts were brilliant. This is why Gervasi is a “must go to destination” often.

This is the model for a great seafood restaurant… came here serendipitously two years ago not expecting anything.. was shocked a restaurant this good could be so far from an ocean. Returned today… hoping it was still great. It is. The staff greeted us warmly as if we were well-liked regulars. The atmosphere softly lit, with every table full, yet without feeling over-crowded. The menu just right… all the favorites.. with nice touches and specials… all fresh. Dessert offerings were solid… and maybe that best describes this restaurant… a solid 9 out of 10. It would hold its own in Manhattan, Miami Beach , Boston or LA.

Great servers/bartenders/hostess! Personable, interactive, well trained. Loved menus, dinners, soups, salad. Will be back! Great find not far from home.

Loved the view, beet salad, clam chowder, tuna and our waiter Nick. Liked the Rockfish. Sure missed the Swordfish. Finished dinner with complimentary red velvet birthday cake for our 91 year old neighbor, and 2 delicious cream brûlée . Pier W, Best on the West. We’ll be back. I've never had a bad meal at Rosewood Grill and this was no exception. Everything was very good to excellent. I think the best were the sushi shots starts - I could have eaten a dozen of them. The least exciting were the desserts - pretty much the same as everyone does: chocolate cake, creme Brulé and cheesecake; how about something a little more unique. Service was excellent, maybe slightly less attentive than usual, but they were very busy.
