Best Neighbourhood Gem Restaurants in Modesto

Christmas Eve dinner was great! Bethany (our server) was wonderful and food was delicious.

Our waiter was exceptional. We went early to have a drink at the bar prior to our reservation and the bartender had such a great attitude. The front desk attendant was also so helpful getting us seated timely and checking my coat without being asked. The food is always excellent and well presented.

We live up past Sacramento but were in Modesto again for an event. We have been here twice before and returned again this evening. We return because the food is delicious, it is reasonably priced, and the staff is very friendly and efficient. Tonight was no different. My wife had the chicken marsala and I had the calamari steak. Both were new items for us as we wanted to try something different than our previous visits. Once again we found both well prepared and delicious. We have yet to find a favorite entree, as everything we have tasted has been great. We would highly recommend giving them a try and we will certainly be back when we visit Modesto again. We had a exceptional birthday dinner for my daughter’s 8th bday. The view, food, ambiance, service… all remarkable and unforgettable. Our server is very knowledgeable about the history of the restaurant. He even sang a Happy Birthday song twice (French and English). Definitely a place to be for intimate and private dinner. Highly recommended
