Best Neighbourhood Gem Restaurants in Villa Park

Awesome service, reasonable prices, consistently good food. Our server Victoria was cool, calm and friendly during the holiday rush. Couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience.

After a disappointing experience on August 17th my husband and I decided to give Gibsons another chance after reassurances from Scott. Well, I have to say this time around was absolutely fantastic! The service was top notch and the food was excellent. Every request was attended to immediately. The entire Gibsons staff were so accommodating and friendly. When I spoke with Scott back in August he said next time we come in to ask for him so that he could make sure we were happy with our dinner. So I did ask for him to stop by and say hello and took several times of me asking before he stopped by, but it was a busy Saturday night so I understand he was busy. That was the only issue otherwise everything was perfect and we are looking forward to our next visit.

Me and my partner went to Redstone for their Thanksgiving dinner BUFFET last week. 5pm reservation and we were seated immediately. The night started with our waiter Josh who from the minute he introduced himself was attentive, friendly, funny and good at his job. LARGE selection of sides, vegetables, customary Thanksgiving sides but I loved the dressing and the gravy. Great ambiance, festive music and nice presentation of the food not in the open but each is a large silver tray that had to be opened to get to the food. Turvey and beef at the carving station. Cornbread, biscuits and numerous different desserts. No kidding quite a spread and Josh gave us the best service possible. A wonderful dining experience and we are still talking about it days later. Every part of our Thanksgiving experience was wonderful. The food and service were exceptional. Seating was timely, despite the restaurant completely filled. Whoever does the scheduling should be commended. We had a lovely, and leisurely time.

Restaurant was decorated very pretty for the holidays. We were seated fast and service was great! I got the calamari for an appetizer and it was amazing. I got the linguine pasta and it was delicious. Friendly people and good vibes. Definitely will be coming back!
