- KKarenVIPOrange County •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoAs always, we were greeted warmly, we were quickly seated in a (requested) booth. We usually start with the amazing rice balls, (I can’t spell or pronounce the word). My dining partner, who loves scallops, very much enjoyed the delicious risotto that comes with the scallops. I ordered a new dish, for me, I had the appetizer of clams and mussels. I’m sure I didn’t carefully read the menu, and was surprised to find that the dish was very tomato forward. I prefer lighter sauces. I ate the clams and mussels and left an almost full dish of tomato. I didn’t send it back because I thought it was my error in ordering. They have been very accommodating in the past when there had been a concern about an order. The servers are friendly and pleasant and appear to enjoy working there. Last night, our service was less attentive, I think it may have been because we were in a corner booth and maybe more difficult to observe. I think it was an “one off” because service is usually on point. This remains one of our favorite restaurants!More infoBrunos Italian KitchenPrice: Moderate• Italian• Brea / La Habra•4.9
- CClaireVIPPalm Springs / Palm Desert Cities •8 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoIt was our first time eating at Mama Mia's, as we were in town for a wedding the next day. We arrived for a late lunch on a Saturday, and were happy to find it wasn't too busy or loud. Mike, our server pointed out some of the more popular dishes, but we went with our old favorites. My husband chose the salmon with a side of fettuccini, and I, an individual pepperoni. My pizza had the kind of crust I like best (chewy and not too thick), the right amount of tasty sauce, and the pepperoni were flavorful without being too spicy. The sauce on the salmon was not heavy, and had just the right amount of garlic. We finished off with tiramisu, an expresso and a cappuccino. The perfect ending to a very nice meal that we enjoyed. We sure wish we lived closer so we could try all the other things on the menu we love. I chose Mama Mia's due to the fantastic YELP reviews and I am so glad I did.More infoMamma Mia - FullertonPrice: Expensive• Italian• Fullerton•4.5

- RralphVIPOrange County •3 reviews4.0Dined on 7 Nov 2024Food is great. But, the bar is lousy. There needs to a good inventory of mainstream alcoholic beverages. Also, the bar tenders need to know how to mix drinks.More infoHidalgo’s Cocina & CóctelesPrice: Moderate• Contemporary Latin• Fullerton•4.1
